What style of photography do you specialize in?
We cater to every taste when it comes to individual style, so if you have something in mind, just ask!
Do you use a digital or film camera?
At Axis Photography we use professional digital cameras also referred to as DSLRs.
Does the photographer use an assistant? Will there be an extra charge for this?
With our premium wedding packages you will be provided with the service of two photographers, and this is at no extra cost. For other packages, you can request to have an additional photographer on the day for an extra cost.
Can other guests take photographs whilst we are having our professional photographs taken?
Yes, why not!! It is a special day for your guests as well as for you. You just have to make sure that our direction is priority as you are paying for our service and we want you to receive the best results.
Should our event go for longer than expected, will you be able to stay and will there be an extra charge for this?
We will charge extra for staying longer than expected, but we will ask your permission on the day before we carry on working.
What type of photos will be in our album?
The choice is yours, but we give you the option of having everything from black & white, colour, spot colour, sepia, colour tints, etc.
Can I write a list for you of specific photographs I want taking?
Yes, it is your big day so we want you to have the photographs you desire, we will discuss this at your consultation.
Do I receive copyright of my images?
Yes, you receive full copyright on all images at no extra cost and with no hidden charges.
Are there any special offers if our wedding is in the week rather than the weekend?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount of any wedding booked between Monday – Thursday

Can I bring a pet?
Pets are part of the family too, so why not!!! Please ensure you let us know on booking.
Can I Have My Picture Taken Alone?
Yes. We accommodate for every occasion, but why not take advantage of our model sessions or a relaxing but fun, boudoir session.
Can We Come As A Couple?
Yes. We would be happy to have you so come on in!
Do You Do Hair and Make Up For My Photograph Shoot?
No we don’t do hair and make-up ourselves but for an extra cost we can arrange for one of our freelance hair and make up artists to come to the studio prior to your shoot. Please ask for details.
How Do I Order?
After your session in the studio, you will be invited back to come and view your photographs in our viewing suite. Here you can bring the family and browse your photographs, picking your favourites. We will then work with you to create a bespoke piece of artwork which is personal to you. This will then be processed and ordered.
How Long Will My Order Take?
After we have worked with you and designed your product(s), we then have to finalise your design and send away for the final product. We aim to have the final piece back between 2-3 weeks.
How Many People Can Come To My Shoot?
We want to see the more the merrier!!! We can arrange your session so that we will capture you all as a group and then work with different family members so we get a lot of variety in you photographs. This is also a perfect time for the family to get together and have lots of fun and a good old giggle.
What Payment Method Can I Use To Make Purchase?
Cash, Debit/Credit Card, Cheque, Paypal
Do I Have To Leave A Deposit When I Place An Order?
Yes. We always ask for a deposit so that your order is secure. You can pay extra amounts towards your order if you wish until your product has arrived for you to collect and then the final amount will be due.

Who Owns The Copyright On My Images?
Please remember that Axis Photography retains the copyright to all the images taken at your sessions.
